iPhone Business in South Africa – Opportunities Unlimited
iPhone Business in South Africa has a huge potential
In South Africa most people are very business oriented, and have always been like that. It is now time for the business schools to include this perspective in their MBA studies. There is a need to study this business attitude and harness it for the future economy. Technology like iPhone 3G has opened unlimited business opportunities.
In the early sixties, women sold a drink called “maheu” at railway stations, bus ranks and other areas identified by them as high relevant traffic areas at particular times. The product came handy for breakfast on the go. Manufacturing giants later packaged the maheu formula for mass production to achieve commercial efficiency. In the process the product lost its natural flavour, and its market dwindled. The pioneers of the market were excluded from the mass commercialisation process, so we may never know why it worked for them.
Today, we cannot expect our young to sell maheu. Most of them do not even know what it looked like and what it tastes like. They are a McD generation. Today’s young, from an early age, love gadgets; for dressing, for playing and for a perceived status. Almost everyone one of them tests the gadgets as soon as they become comfortable with being on this planet, after a marathon of learning which sometimes stressed them to sleep often, they are here and now.
In my view, they must enjoy all these gadgets as much as they want to, but also share them. Share them on a business basis. Sharing anything on a business basis comes natural to humans. We have been sharing, bargaining and battering from time immemorial. It is an exciting human activity. It can switch us into a trance that gets us so motivated that nothing would stand in our way to accomplishing whatever we want.
With gadgets like iPhone 3G, looking so smart, you can play your heart out, you can dress to kill, matching to your clothing style, perfumes and make up style, and your perceived status style. You can do with it just about anything you want to do with it legally. Most of all you can run a profitable big or small business with it. How can you do that? Sell advertising space on your Iphone, run Google AdSense, sell applications you develop using your iPhone 3G, run email service etc. The list is so long you would do well to see this video here and then buy a book to learn in a week how to do it or visit your local bookstore to look for helpful books on the subject. You can also buy it online cheaper.
