France Arrest Pan-African Leader Kemi Seba
France has been persecuting Kemi Seba for years

AFRICANGLOBE – Pan-Africanist leader Kemi Seba has been incarcerated this sunday to serve an ancient sentence. He was placed in judicial detention on Saturday evening according to police sources. Kemi Seba was back in France for the promotion of his recent book.

In October 2009, he received a 2-months jail sentence suspended on probation, from the Paris Court of Appeal, allegedly for violence. The suspension was revoked in October 2011 because Kemi Seba allegedly did not observe the obligations of his probation. The judge considered he had to serve this sentence.

Originating from Benin, Kemi Seba was the leader of the New Black Panther Party French branch. He was also the leader of several Black activists movements that were disbanded by the French government. He has been living for almost 3 years in Senegal now, his country of adoption, where he continues his fight and advocates the return of the Black diaspora on the African continent.

Kemi Seba, whose real name is Stellio Capo Chichi, has been constantly challenging international institutions such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Health Organization (WHO), etc. To him, these organisations were “led by zionists who impose filthy living conditions on Africa and its Diaspora, making Auscwitz concentration camp look like a paradise on earth”. Because of his speeches, Kemi Seba was expelled from Switzerland in 2012, where he is now banned from entering.

Saturday, before being placed in judicial detention, he was at Dieudonne’s Theatre de la Main d’Or (Paris), where he was holding a conference around the publication of his new book  Black Nihilism. A success that got a full house, which reminded of his last coming in France during the presentation of his first book «Supra- Negritude».

His lawyer, Mrs. Isabelle Coutant-Peyre, protested against this decision, arguing that it was a political decision. For her, “the Minister of Justice, Christiane Taubira, pursues the plan initiated by former Minister of Internal Affairs and former President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, with the objective to deprive Kemi Seba of his right to defend the Black people from oppression”.

Kemi Seba was taken to prison after being brought before a magistrate of Paris Public Prosecutor office on Sunday.
