At Least 28 African Migrants Dead, After Two Boats Sink Near Djibouti
African migrants are drowning in their thousands trying to leave North Africa.

AFRICANGLOBE – At least 28 African migrants have died and more than 130 missing after two boats capsized off the coast of Djibouti, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said.

The boats were said to be sink after they began traveling carrying Overloading passengers, the report added.

According to an eye witness, 130 passengers were on board on one of the boats whereas a number of passengers in the second boat are unknown.

According to recent reports, a number of African migrants use Djibouti as a transit to Arab nations.
