AFRICANGLOBE – Stacey Dash is turning up the heat on social media again, this time in the aftermath of the alleged ambush of two NYPD cops on Saturday afternoon.

The actress told her Twitter followers that the murders “are the natural result of the Jihad on cops” prompted by Rev. Al Sharpton and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. “They should be held accountable.”

She has also called for the mayor to step down.

Actor James Woods has also leveled strong criticism of Sharpton following the ambush allegedly committed by gunman Ismaaiyl Brinsley.

Prior to the execution-style murders of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, Dash deemed Sharpton a “crook and a con artist” who has exploited the Black community for his own gain.

In an interview with The Edit, Dash explained, “When I get hateful tweets, I just re-tweet them, and then my fans pile in and attack the haters while I sit back.”

She also noted that she is sadly no longer on speaking terms with several family members because they disagree with her conservative political views.

You’ll recall that back in October 2012, when the Clueless star and 2008 Obama voter originally tweeted an endorsement of GOP nominee Mitt Romney for president, she was flamed on social media in a most vulgar, offensive, and at times, racially charged way. That trend has continued. Dash, 47, is of African-American and Mexican heritage. She was also on the receiving end of Twitter rancor last year, for example, after raising questions about the trip that Jay-Z and Beyonce took to communist Cuba.

Ebony magazine recently named her as one of Google’s top-trending Black actresses of 2014 “for all the wrong reasons.” In a recent appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered, where she is a member of a rotating panel of female commentators, Dash declared that “if being a Fox News contributor and standing up what I believe in is wrong, then I’ll be wrong all day long.” The actress attributed a South Bronx upbringing for her ability to deflect the intense criticism that comes her way.

In her most recent tweet, Stacey Dash indicated that she plans to focus on our troops and the true reason for Christmas for the rest of the week. LOL.
