Whitney Houston is allegedly months away from bankruptcy, after reportedly blowing through her fortune, sources close to the star have claimed.
The 48-year-old singer, who is a confessed drug addict, is said to be destitute and ‘broke as a joke,’, according to one gossip website who say sources have confirmed her bleak financial state.
“Whitney’s fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released,” a source reportedly said.
They added: “She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke.”
In 2001, Whitney bagged the biggest record deal in music history, landing six-album deal, which earned her a whopping $100 million.
