2019 Is A Very Significant Year For ADOS Black Americans

AFRICANGLOBE - In 2017, the United States Congress passed the 400 years of African-American History Commission Act which is charged with developing activities throughout the country to commemorate the arrival of Africans in the English colonies in 1619, an event widely regarded as the commencement of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade in North America.

In The Presidential Election Black Voters Are Kingmakers: No Tangibles No...

AFRICANGLOBE - An astonishing spectacle of the 2016 election aftermath is the false account of why Trump won. The accepted wisdom is that Trump succeeded in awakening a popular movement of anger and frustration among white, blue-collar, less educated, mostly male, voters. This story is mostly wrong. Trump did not win because he was more attractive to this base of white voters. He won because Hillary Clinton was less attractive to the traditional Democratic base of Black voters.

Keep Fighting: Reparations For Black People Is Closer Than You Think

AFRICANGLOBE - The issue of reparations for Black Americans is back in the news, with a number of candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination doing a u-turn and giving lip service to the idea in one form or another. The situation of Black people had been addressed in the Kerner Commission empaneled by President Lyndon Johnson in the aftermath of a number of major urban riots in the late 1960s. Memorably, the commission concluded that “Our nation is moving toward two societies, one Black, one white—separate and unequal” and that “white racism” was the cause.

Forget HR40 Only Reparations Can Shrink The Racial Wealth Gap

AFRICANGLOBE - The racial wealth gap is the result of decades, even centuries of systematic economic barriers to Black America's economic progress . Starting with slavery to the Jim Crow era to today’s mass incarceration, U.S. policy has held back Black Americans and denied them an equal opportunity for centuries. The factors contributing to the racial wealth gap are multitude and their interplay is complex and differs from community to community, from time period to time period. It is virtually impossible to identify one single leading cause for the massive racial wealth gap.

Divided Political Emotions – The Gantt Report

AFRICANGLOBE - I kinda chuckled when one of Joe Biden’s communication hires struggled trying to explain Biden’s past support for legislation that turned  thousands of young Black men into long term penitentiary inmates.

Old Drunken Joe Biden Is In For A Rude Awakening

AFRICANGLOBE - Joe Biden, the 76-year-old former Vice President and long-term Democratic Senator from Delaware, finally threw his hat into the ring for his party’s nomination for president. As the frontrunner in nearly every poll, in normal times Biden would have a relatively easy path to the nomination. But these are not normal times, and drunken Joe Biden is not a normal candidate.

Ohio Democrat Pushes For Black Babies To Be Aborted

AFRICANGLOBE - Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed into law a bill that bans abortions as soon as the baby's heartbeat is detected., which can be as early as six weeks. But before it passed, a Democrat from Ohio tried to make sure Black babies were excluded from the pro-life bill and could be aborted for any reason. Janine Boyd suggested protecting Black children from abortion is akin to slavery. "Black slaves were once treated like cattle and put out to stud in order to create generations of more slaves," she said during her remarks.

Trump’s Latest Immigration Plan Targets African Immigrants

AFRICANGLOBE - The Trump administration is considering a new immigration measure to impose visa restrictions on countries whose citizens have a track record of overstaying beyond the validity of their short-term US visas. Data shows that while removals of undocumented migrants fell in 2017 under the Trump administration, the removal of people from African countries and Haiti rose. For the top 10 African countries on US Immigration’s list, removals jumped by 140%.

Getting Desperate: 2020 Democrats Vow To Sign Bill STUDYING Reparations

AFRICANGLOBE - One by one, the candidates answered yes -- some not for the first time. In this 2020 primary, the issue of reparations, which for decades existed only on the fringes of mainstream political debate, has emerged as a litmus test for Democrats vying for a shot at unseating President Donald Trump next year.

Illegal Immigration Hurts Black Americans The Most

AFRICANGLOBE - Black Americans vote for Democrats by obsequious margins—often in excess of 90 percent. And yet Black Americans are hurt most by the Democrats’ illegal immigration policy. In short: mass immigration, legal and illegal, disproportionately hurts Black Americans because they are the ones most likely to compete directly with immigrants for work.

Yes, You Absolutely Can And Should Question Kamala Harris’ Blackness

AFRICANGLOBE - When Black people question Kamala’s Blackness they also invariably question the prevailing paradigm that anyone in America with just a tint of West African blood should and must be regarded as Black instead of the other. That is not Black essentialism. That is white essentialism.

ADOS Family Sue Harvard For Profiting From Enslaved Ancestors

AFRICANGLOBE - In recent years, Harvard leaders have publicly acknowledged the school's role in fostering slavery. In addition to the 2017 conference on slavery, the school held a faculty committee a year earlier to help launch a scholarship and research on Harvard's history with slavery. Former University President Drew Faust in a 2016 speech said Harvard was "directly complicit" in America's system of racial bondage until it was abolished in Massachusetts in 1783. She said Harvard remained "indirectly involved through extensive financial and other ties" to slavery in the South.

Bernie Sanders Jewish People Enslaved Black Americans Too: Now Cut The...

AFRICANGLOBE - The book "The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews" revealed that Jews and Christians, were responsible for the enslavement of Black people in America. This documentary leaves no doubt of the Jewish involvement and control over the Atlantic Slave trade.

The New Face Of Anti-Blackness Is Jewish

AFRICANGLOBE - When Jews, like Bernie Sanders, who openly endorse reparations for their white ethnicity, refuse reparations for AADOS, it begs numerous questions, like. Why is reparation for Jews more important than reparations for African American Descendants of Slaves, so much so that reparations to Israel cannot even be questioned in the United States? Is it perhaps because Jews are in themselves whites or Caucasians? It is perhaps because as a result of this Jewish whiteness, a Black ethnicity’s equal humanity cannot be granted in the same way and manner that the humanity of Jews have been so granted in the broadest sense of reparations?

Top Democrat James Clyburn Does Not Support Reparations For Black People

AFRICANGLOBE - House Majority Whip James Clyburn said that he takes issue with using reparations to lessen racial inequality, as some 2020 candidates have come out in favor of the idea. Clyburn, the highest ranking African-American congressman, told reporters he thinks "pure reparations would be impossible to implement.” He also said he was opposed to "opportunity zones" for Black people.

Why Are Democratic Candidates Trying To Deny Black People Their Reparations?

AFRICANGLOBE - Slavery stripped Black Americans of the financial fruits of their labor and more for most of the country’s history. Jim Crow replaced chains of metal with ones forged of terror, most famously through lynchings, but also land theft. The contemporary form of bigotry’s financial toll is redlining, by which financial institutions withhold loans from Black neighborhoods.
