AFRICANGLOBE - The shooting and killing of an unarmed Blacks speak massive volumes as to the omnipresence of racial tensions/distrust between the Black community and white police officers in the United States. As an overt corollary, to all intent and purposes, these shootings and killings seem to concur directly with the March 1857 US Supreme Court Dred Scott decision to the extent that Blacks “had no rights which the white man was bound to respect” and that “slaves are not regarded as US citizens.”
AFRICANGLOBE - New York City officers made 12,453 arrests in 2013 that included a charge of resisting arrest. In some cases resisting is the sole charge, the legal equivalent of a virgin birth. More often it’s appended to arrests for other infractions, allowing prosecutors to paint simple acts as prejudicially incriminating.
AFRICANGLOBE - Entries found to have been edited by IP addresses associated with the NYPD include pages related to the shooting deaths of Eric Garner, Sean Bell, and Amadou Diallo. In all, Capital New York identified 85 separate NYPD addresses that have edited Wikipedia, which indicates that this may very well have been a coordinated operation and not simply the work of a rogue officer.

Yet most Americans will support the police until it happens to them, but keep in mind that every time you get in your car you have placed yourself in far greater danger from police than you face from terrorists.

The arrest was captured on a smartphone video that has been viewed more than 700,000 times on YouTube, as documenting and viewing police activity becomes more popular.
AFRICANGLOBE - New York City police shot and killed an unarmed 28-year-old Black man Thursday night in a Brooklyn housing project, in what the city’s political establishment is referring to as an “unfortunate accident.” The news of this latest murder by the New York Police Department (NYPD) comes as the ruling elite prepares a crackdown in advance of a grand jury decision on whether to bring charges against the Ferguson, Missouri, police officer who killed Michael Brown in August.
AFRICANGLOBE - On Thursday October 23, Zale Thompson, 32, attacked four New York Police Department officers with an 18 inch hatchet slashing one officer in the head and another in the arm before he was fatally shot by another officer. Although New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton declared that the hatchet attack was a terrorist act by a self-radicalized Muslim convert it was widely reported that authorities were also trying to determine if Thompson had any history of mental illness.

AFRICANGLOBE - A federal appeals court on Thursday blocked a judge's order requiring changes to the New York Police Department's stop-and-frisk program and removed the judge from the case. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the decisions of Judge Shira Scheindlin will be stayed pending the outcome of an appeal by the city.
